To Steve Shireman Jr, RV, and any other BX owners out there. You guys probably think I'm a color-blind guy who only sees green, but I'm helping my parents choose a new tractor and I'm recommending a BX2200 with the bar-turf tires. My parents are interested in the LA211 loader, the 54" mowing deck, and the pto-driven grass bagging system. We have a couple questions that I was hoping you all could help with. What is the clearance height to the top of the ROPS and what is the overall width both at the tires and including the 54" mower deck? Their land is fairly flat - would they need front suitcase weights to balance the bagger if they had the loader off? Is the rear bagger system sufficient ballast for the loader? Do the bar-turf tires provide a good balance between turf protection and soft earth traction? Do they wear well? I saw on tractor-by-net board a discussion about 3-way vs 4-way SCV loader controls: what's that all about? Are there any other not-so-obvious options or things they should be considering? As to why I didn't recommend a JD 4100: they don't need that much tractor. :>) Just kidding, of course. I'd appreciate any insights or recommendations all you BX-fans might share. Thanks.

Height clearance?: 70" (my measurement)

Tire width?: 46" (my measurement)

Mower width (RCK54-22BX)?: 66.5 inches (Owner's Guide)

Weights w/o FEL?: Not required (my use opinion)

Rear bagger weight sufficient for FEL?: My guess is hat it's load dependent, but personally, I wouldn't want to be carrying the bagger around when using the FE for most work. Tire ballast (liquid or wheel weights) probably better. I have wheel weights, and add a 4' blade when doing serious work.
